Amadagana & Partners has acted as local counsel to the Fayat-Egis Consortium via its Tollcam project company, in the financing of a 32 billion FCFA partnership contract with the Cameroonian State for the construction and operation of 14 toll stations.
Amadagana & Partners acted as local counsel, alongside Orrick, for the Fayat-Egis Consortium via its Tollcam project company, in the financing of a partnership contract with the lenders Société Générale (SGC, SGCI) and Société Commerciale de Banque (SCB Cameroun) and Guarantco.
The Cameroonian State was represented by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Public Works. This financing will cover the construction and operation of 14 toll booths on the main roads in Cameroon.
The multi-party financing agreement was signed on 10 June 2022 by Fayat-Egis, Razel-Bec, Razel Cameroon, GuarantCo, and the banks Société Générale, SCB Cameroon.
Amadagana & Partners assisted Tollcam in the review of Cameroonian law aspects in the drafting, review and finalisation of all financing documentation.
