Amadagana & Partners has advised the Consortium Razel-Bec & Egis on a EUR 230 million PPP project in Cameroon

Amadagana & Partners has advised the Consortium RAZEL BEC and EGIS PROJECTS in the framework of the Public-Private Partnership Project for the construction of 14 toll facilities on the road network of Cameroon.

The works to build the new tolling facilities will start as soon as the financing is in place and are anticipated to be completed in 2022. The operation and maintenance of the toll facilities will then be carried out by TOLLCAM, while the tariff policy remains the responsibility of the State of Cameroon. The contract value will be 230 million euros.

Our Team was was led by Lynda Amadagana (Managing Partner), assisted by Guy Mbenda (Associate), Jean Bangwen (Associate) and Brice Yonkeu (Associate). Our team acted as the cameroonian counsel alongside the international firm Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe.

Our Managing Partner, has declared “We are delighted to bring our expertise in the PPP sector to the FAYAT and EGIS Group in this major project in Cameroon which will be a real revolution for the Cameroonian highway landscape and create jobs for Cameroonians“.
